Lighthouse groups for 0 - 10`s happen on a Sunday morning during the service. The children meet together in age-based groups in various rooms around the church building with leaders, helpers and parents. There are packs available on the information table which will give you more detail about the different groups meeting, and which might be suitable for your child. Some of the groups are single sex (7-10`s) and groups have a strong focus on building relationships and encouraging friendship.
Our passion is for each of our children to know God`s love and security; to worship Him; to get to know Him, their leaders and each other better; to experience all that God has for them; to have fun together and be equipped to stand for Jesus in their week-day lives at home, in school, with their families and friends-in their communities.
Partnership with parents is vital and all groups have parent helpers each week. All church staff, volunteer leaders and helpers are Criminal Record Bureau checked.
Throughout the year there are Activity Mornings for children and their friends - these are festival based i.e. Harvest, Advent, Christmas, Easter and give the children a chance to invite their friends to find out about Jesus. Holiday Clubs are also a part of our children`s work.
